YSL

September 24, 2009

Victoria, Eriq and I went to this party @ BoConcept last night “The Longest Release Party Worldwide” making a fashionably late entrance (well-sort-of-entrance).    What a fantastic place to have a party, pre set lounge areas, individual living room nooks where couples could intimately discuss …. politics!  Every great party requires a well designed floor plan.

arguably:

“Architecture is fashion”     “Interior Design is fashion”

It was my first time to wear my recent YSL purchase:  black w/ gold YSL tee under a black skinny suit, black suede like skinny rockstar pants and black pointy dress shoes.  Of course had a watch & ring with tousled hair that I recently highlighted platinum.   Don’t know if it looked good but     Overall = fun

Here’s the shirt on Japanese Model:YSL

 We Love Seattle
…And our tees say it all!

If you’ve lived in Seattle for more than thirty days you’ll start to develop a giant love for this city… whether its the food, scenery or the wonderful dog parks that give Charlie the opportunity to run in circles every Sunday afternoon; we live in a gorgeous place! Its been said that beauty inspires creativity and these shirts are prime example of how our city has been an inspiration for others.

Designed by one of our ever-so-talented interns, Francis, the tee on the left is a combination of our logo and Seattle’s sky line. We lovelovelove them. And yes, its quite the biased opinion 🙂 Sizes are limited so grab them while they last!
Ringo ‘Seattle Logo’ Tee: $29.50

The artist for Wet Cement made a recent trip to Seattle and snapped this cool picture of the intersection between Westlake and 6th Ave (right)…. and we just HAD to get it! The graphic is on a great burn-out tee, like all other Wet Cement products. Between the picture and the soft feel of the shirt, we know its a piece all Seattle-ites should have in their Summer wardrobe.
Wet Cement ‘Westlake’ Tee: $74.50

Lavsh – Seattle Fashion Week

April 19, 2009

Seattle Fashion Week 2009

Thursday Night Featured Independent Artists.  One label that stood out was Lavsh by Alfred Lape

Lape is a very driven, disciplined and focused 25 year-old self taught fashion designer.  Talking with him for 5-minutes or even observing his demeanor reflects this.  Likewise, his clothes demonstrate his ability and inspiration of individuality and luxury in the garments he handcrafts.   Taken from Tom Ford, “True Luxury is found in clothing that has been shaped and honed by human hand,” Lape holds true to this as he is responsible for selection of fabrics, design, sketching and production.  One-of-a-kind garmets are available for purchase. Overall I applaud Lavsh & their ingenuity in modern menswear.   My only question is, does he ever take off his shades?
